This time I tried out a Tower Defense Strategy (TDS) game available on Steam! It's a typical real-time strategy (RTS) game.
In conclusion,
"Design, music, game systemis great, butThere is room for improvement in operability and game balance."Also, it's a shame that only simple English is used and Japanese is not supported.
review
Pros
First, the good points:The design is cool!!!

It has a cute design that is typical of pixel art. With the number of games that are more realistic, there is something about designs like this that makes you feel a little attached to them.

What is that grass growing out of your head?
Although the game system is a traditional tower defense type,There are infinite strategies depending on where you place them, the order you place them in, and what you upgrade..Multiplayer support with a wide variety of stagesSo it might be a good idea to have some fun with friends.
Cons
There were a few things that I was a bit concerned about, even though they had a lot of good points.Operability and game balanceis.
First, regarding operability,

You may not notice it once you get used to it, butIt's difficult to change the viewpoint and move the character...Also, the character's movement speed is slow (although there may be more upgrades in the future with evolutions), so the preparation phase feels short.
Also, there are some points of concern regarding game balance:
High cost to upgrade defensive archery stands and walls!! I could manage up to the third stage, but the costs from that point on were too high! And once the walls were destroyed, I had to rebuild them from scratch. To be honest, I was disheartened at first.

We were devastated when the enemy started pouring in through the gaps in the ruined walls.
Strategy
After playing for about 10 hours, I realized that"It's easier to defend with a backline that's the core than with a frontline that's fortifying facilities."is.
This game has an "invasion phase" and a "preparation phase", but the "preparation phase" takes30 secondsTherefore, during the invasion, rather than defeating the enemy in the front line, let the enemy advance to the rear line and continue to create materials in the meantime.Time-wasting playIf you don't do that, you can't win.
Also,Upgrade ore mining dorms firstYou should. When I was strengthening my walls and archery stands, I often had a hard time because I didn't have enough money to do so and was attacked. It shows that manpower is important for anything you do.
summary
Since the game is still in early access, various aspects may be improved and Japanese support may be added later. There are not many tower defense games that can be played multiplayer, so it was a game that I can only look forward to in the future!
It's a really fun game to play alone, so be sure to give it a try!
